Training Yoga Once a Week

Hello everyone,

Free Yoga on Sundays is really taking off!  I believe there were 14 people on the mats for today’s class.  It is very relaxing, and recuperative, highly recommended.

Below, is an outline of some of the benefits of doing Yoga once a week.

  1. There are studies that show yoga helps build grey matter in the brain.
  2. It is a good time to become quiet to assess how your body feels at the same time every week.
  3. It is an opportunity to focus on your breathing
  4. It is an opportunity to improve your posture and flexibility.
  5. It is a good way to actively recuperate any damage or stress that has accumulated throughout the week.
  6. It is a tremendous way to experience mental clarity
  7. It benefits the body through muscle, bone, and circulatory improvements.  And the mind through calm, mindful, restorative exercise.
