10 Jul Using Mesh Bags for washing No Gi Gear

I have recently discovered that some of my no gi gear has been degrading.  My rash guards have developed some pills, the logo on my shorts is cracking, the drawstring looks all beat up.

I have discovered how to stop it!

Using a zip up mesh bag that you can buy at any dollar store (buy the ones that have protected zippers), you put your shorts in rash guard in the bag, and wash.  Buy more bags to protect more gear.

Alongside using ecomax or ecos natural cleaner, and hang drying, my new gear looks 100% new after several washes.  Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

PS Please do not use vinegar in your wash.  You can wash something in vinegar once to lock in colour, but washing with vinegar makes clothing smell like vinegar, which is unpleasant.
