07 Jan Marc Receives his GJJ 2nd Degree Black Belt

As some of you may already know I recurved my 2nd degree Black Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu on December 18th, 2018.  The highest honour in my Jiu Jitsu career came after a momentous 2 day black belt exam, engineered to be a wholistic test regarding everything about this amazing art, where I was one of several evaluators for qualified brown belts from around the world who spent a lot of additional time preparing to be tested on Jiu Jitsu philosophy, lifestyle elements, standing, ground, Gi and NoGi, I can tell you it was amazing, but I won’t tell you everything.  In order for you to find out what it’s really like, you’ll have to prepare for it yourself!

Congratulations to all who attended and passed, I am inspired by your mindset, technique and character and I look forward to sharing the mat with you in the future.  Finally a thank you to all of the amazing students North Vancouver Gracie Jiu Jitsu for entrusting us with your Jiu Jitsu journey.  We are going to go far, together.
