Angela Maria Off the Grid

Please support my friend Angela Maria Nardolillo on FB, youtube, and Instagram. She is a Certified Instructor for Women Empowered, she has a new documentary coming out June 30 about her experiences teaching Jiu Jitsu and aid work in Haiti. Here in an excerpt from her website:

“Angela Maria has been traveling to Haiti since 2012 to bring sustainable supplies, support, empowerment and survival tactics to the Deaf community. This includes the Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) and Hearing caretakers of the Deaf. Each mission is supported by donators and partners.

Empowerment has been brought to over 500 individuals from refugee camps, villages, dormitory, camps and orphanage. Empowerment in the form of: rescue whistles for the women and children to use wear under their clothing while in vulnerable locations –asleep or in transit; the indestructible One World Futbol (soccer ball), hygiene and educational supplies; a small business has been established for the Deaf women by donating used jewelries in order for the women to create and sell; and over 100 individuals from age 5-adult have been trained in Gracie Jiu Jitsu Self Defense.”
