08 Feb Best Trip Ever

Hello Everyone,

This post is to celebrate one of the best trips we have ever made down south to California for Jiu Jitsu.

There are so many reasons this trip was special.  We will try our best to outline the magic here.

Firstly this trip was special, because it was a visit to Gracie Academy HQ.  We are always greeted with kindness and like family.  This time we were greeted by GM Rorion himself.

We will go over point by point, what made this trip so amazing.

-Bobby became a Certified Instructor

– We did a standing self defence seminar with a red belt, Grand Master Rorion Gracie

– We took a tour of the Gracie Museum with GM Rorion himself, who told us stories from the Gracie Family history

-Marc was invited to a special 7am training session with Lloyto Machida, Rener Gracie, and some other high level students

-Marc was invited to sit on the panel of instructors during the Instructor Certification Program to share his experiences, knowledge, and opinions on what makes a quality instructor, and the responsibilities of being a self defence instructor.

We even had a little time to relax and go to the Griffith’s observatory to check out the view and learn some astronomy facts.
