14 Jun Rickson Gracie and the Gracie Academy Re-Join Forces

Rickson Gracie, often heralded as the greatest fighter Jiu Jitsu has ever produced, has endorsed the Gracie Academy and it’s teaching methodologies due to a collaboration between the two organizations.  Rickson Gracie founded an organization called the Jiu Jitsu Global Federation (JJGF).  It’s goal being, the preservation of the the culture and essence of Jiu Jitsu; the foundational principles of the self defence origin of the art of Jiu Jitsu, and the promotion and standardization of grading, curriculum and other aspects of the Jiu Jitsu community.  In this powerful video below, you see Pedro Sauer, Ryron and Rener Gracie, and their Uncle Rickson discussing the small changes, and how this will create a great future for the amazing art that we all benefit from practicing.
