14 Mar The Power of Practicing Jiu Jitsu with our Loved Ones

This post is regarding one of our contingency plans to keep the most advanced way to practice the most effective and evolved form of martial arts ever: Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

One of the offerings we have given to our student body is a comprehensive approach to be able to still study, and digest the lessons that they would normally be getting in class.  In order to keep our amazing community going not only will we need everyone to see the value in this, and opt it, but we will need to inspire them to keep their journey going by actually digesting the lessons.  Ryron, Rener, and the Gracie University format is the best and most advanced way to train the art we have ever seen.  This opportunity represents a real chance to not just keep skills up, but to improve.

As of Monday, all active students will receive access to the Gracie University course that matches their rank.  Students will receive a .pdf lesson card that they can print up at home so they can keep track of the lessons that they have studied and practiced.  Upon returning, students will be able to attend a free Verification Seminar to demonstrate the techniques learnt and receive credit for it.  Students will also get free access to the Street Chokes seminar.  Free weekly online webinars from the instructors at GU will also be streamed for our students to watch, practice and attend online.  There will also be opportunities to schedule a Facetime or Skype video call with one of our instructors to answer any questions or address difficulties they are having with their techniques at home.

In summary:

1. We will be sending all active students and parents of students a tracking card for all lessons that they complete during this closure.
2. We will grant access to all the online lessons that corresponds to your rank ($35 USD Value).
3. Upon return to the school, students will be able to attend a free Verification Seminar where they can demonstrate the techniques learnt at home to receive credit for it.
4. All members will gain access to the weekly webinars held by instructors at GU: Rener, Ryron, Eve…There will be opportunities for a Q & A period. (seminars usually go for $100 USD per hour)
5. Students will receive free access to GU’s Street Choke Mastery Seminar $85 USD Value
6. Students will be able to schedule a Facetime or Skype video call with one of our instructors to answer any questions or address difficulties they are having with their techniques at home.
